Toyota Landcruiser 300 Quick Release Mount

Introducing Beam Me Up Technologies' newly design Toyota Landcruiser 300 Series Quick Release Starlink Mini Mount.

Having successfully run 300 series Starlink mounts in the market for some time now, customer feedback has been pivotal towards manufacturing an enhanced Starlink Mini mounting system for the 300 Series LC.

With the 300 having an aluminium roof and in the absence of a complete roof rack system, mechanially fastening discreetly to the OEM load-bearing roof rails of the vehicle, made perfect sense.

In the design phase of this product, bonding metal plates or discs to the painted surface of a luxury motor vehicle, simply to anchor a Starlink mount was promptly ruled out.

Satellite communication technology is evolving at a staggering pace and our mounting system is designed around this. It had to be able to be removed easily without leaving unwanted fixtures on the vehicle.

The mounting system is designed to keep a low profile, without adding any vehicle height clearance and is aerodynamic to prevent unwanted road noise.

An adjustable soft rubber vibration dampener has been added to inboard mount edge, making sure the mount travels smoothly over the roughest terrain.  A transparent 50mm 3M adhesive shield is provided to install between the rubber dampener and paint to prevent any wear at the minimal roof contact area.

With the addition of anodised thumb screws this mount can be removed easily, whilst leaving the custom carbon fibre composite brackets in placed. These thumb screws can be swapped out for security bolts if required.

There are many options to successfully power the Starlink Mini and it will come down to the end users preference. The 240VAC power point in the back of most 300 models will successfully operate the dish with the ignition on. This option is useful to have uninterrupted communications whilst on the road.

If you have additional power sources like a secondary battery or power bank, then running a dedicated 30VDC circuit would be preferable.

The Beam Me Up 300 Quick release mount can be fitted with an integrated 12 to 30VDC step-up converter for powering simplicity, simply by adding it to your cart along with this mount.
